A Summer of Purpose

Camp Pinnacle's purpose is to create an environment where girls can experience God. Campers receive opportunities to hear, read, and respond to God’s Word and follow His plan for their lives. Staff lead the way in teaching girls to have a greater understanding of God and His mission while encouraging them in fun activities!

A Unique Focus

Camp Pinnacle is a missions-focused camp where campers and staff experience another culture from a specific part of the world. Through a missions focus, staff lead campers in learning how they can take part in God's mission and reach different peoples with the gospel. Campers and staff actively participate in missions by praying, giving, and serving.

Grow While You Serve

Grow in your walk with Jesus and develop skills that benefit you in future opportunities. Serve the next generation and become part of a camper's story as you lead them to Jesus through Bible study, spiritual conversations, and your personal testimony. As a Camp Pinnacle Staffer, you will receive opportunities to learn and lead in any of the following ways:

Lifeguarding or Lifeguard Management

Wilderness First Aid

Low Ropes Course / Adventure Recreation

Hike Leading / Outdoor Living Skills

Archery Skills

Lights, Sound, and AV Equipment

Photography / DVD Production

Pottery Wheels

Sports Recreation

Singing / Playing Instruments

Dance / Interpretive Movement

Arts / Crafts

Food Service / Hospitality

Staff Benefits

All summer-long staff positions are paid according to position and experience.
Position includes housing and meals, required t-shirts for Mondays and Fridays, certifications for select activities (i.e. Lifeguarding, Archery, and Wilderness First Aid), and one round-trip mileage.

Summer Staff Application Criteria

Leadership Team

Must be at least 18 years old
A growing follower of Christ
Active member of a Southern Baptist Church
One year of college experience or work equivalent
Experience leading children and/or students and peers
Previous camp staff experience preferred

Program Staff / Cabin Leader

Must be at least 18 years old
A growing follower of Christ
Active member of a Southern Baptist Church
Cabin Leaders: One year of college experience or work equivalent
Cabin Leaders: Experience leading children and/or students and peers

Media Team

Must be at least 18 years old
A growing follower of Christ
Active member of a Southern Baptist Church
Experience with photography, videography, social media pages, and/or soundboard/projectors preferred

All staff will be certified in CPR / First Aid by a nationally recognized organization during staff training.

The online form is Step One in the application process. Applicants will receive an email with instructions and the remaining forms.
Encourage references to submit responses quickly so we can schedule an interview.
At least one reference must be pastoral (i.e. church pastor, college ministry pastor, or BCM minister).
