I came to camp as a staffer for the first time this summer, not knowing what to expect. I had never been to Camp Pinnacle before and the thrill of the unexpected was so exciting! I knew the Lord wanted to use my summer to serve others and I felt that Camp Pinnacle would really allow me to do just that. Boy, were my expectations met and exceeded!! Throughout the summer of 2014, Camp Pinnacle became like home to me. I was, and still am, so humbled to have been grafted into such a legacy of women whose desire is to see young girls come to know Christ. And that’s really what Camp Pinnacle is all about.
It’s amazing to see how clearly the Lord can speak to each girl through a week of being in His Creation and away from usual distractions. As a staffer, I felt fully equipped to teach and continually pour into these girls, primarily, through my Savior who knows me completely, and secondly, by the guidance of a faithful leadership team that the Lord hand picks for each summer. There are so many words I could say about Camp Pinnacle and what it means to me, but my favorite thing is that everything said and done throughout each summer points back to Jesus and the saving power He has for each young girl who walks on campus!
