Not Just a Summer Job
Kathy's Story
Being a staffer at Camp Pinnacle is an experience I will always keep close to my heart. Here at camp it is more than just taking kids from one activity to the next or just babysitting. We have purpose and that is to create an environment where girls can experience God.
Being a staffer is exhausting, but very rewarding. The sleepless nights, sore muscles, and silly songs become a badge of honor -- especially when you know your time and energy was invested for a purpose bigger than yourself. As a staffer you will not only be building relationships with your campers, but also with one another.
These relationships with other staffers is a bond bigger than just a summer job. It is a sisterly bond that will last a lifetime. You and your fellow staffers are each others' support and encouragement during and after camp. Through the relationships that are built with one another you will always have constant love and encouragement in your relationship with Christ.

This camp has had a huge impact on my love for missions by bringing in missionaries from all over and just allowing me to be exposed to such powerful testimonies of God providing for their needs.
Although I grew up in a Christian home and have been taught the Gospel since I was a little girl, it wasn’t until I went to camp that year that it finally clicked.
God used camp to teach me how to rely on him and trust him with all things. I experienced firsthand what it looked like to serve him wholeheartedly.
