Camp Pinnacle’s Impact on My Life
Allie's Story
Pinnacle not only allowed me to make lifelong friends (sisters) and experience camp while being surrounded by God's creation every waking moment, but it really was my first mission trip on my own...and I learned so much from the experience. I learned more from and met missionaries whom I would teach my Girls in Action about prior to camp, and thanks to all my sisters I learned about the importance of encouragement. I also learned that being a missionary should include more than sharing the gospel...it requires making disciples.
Camp Pinnacle also forced me to evaluate my relationship with Christ, and honestly, my relationship needed improvement...and at Camp Pinnacle I was blessed with wonderful sisters who talked with me and prayed for me without judgment while giving me the support I needed to begin changing my life to become, by His grace, a more deserving daughter.

One thing I loved was getting to know the cabin leaders and staff. Even though they had different personalities, talents, and stories about how they came to Christ, it was obvious God brought them there for a purpose.
