It was crazy to see how all the girls looked up to each of us as leaders. Girls who were never with me in a camptivity or unit time were watching my every word, action, and smile! But even through those small things, it was so encouraging to see God at work through me to make an impact in the lives of the girls!
I also grew a lot in my love for God’s Word, and my constant need for Him! You just can’t work at a Camp--or do anything for that matter--through your own strength. This summer really helped me grow to crave time with Jesus, recognizing it was a necessity for every single day! Also, it was a total blast! Several months later, I still have songs stuck in my head, and find myself relating life to “that one time at Camp”. Truly a transforming, growing summer, and I’d go back in a heartbeat!
